1.Different cell shapes

  



■Cylinder lithium ion battery.

Advantage: cost of producing is lower.

Limitation: since one battery is made up by about 50 cells. There percentage to have one cell not working is higher than Li-polymer battery’s. It can explode if not making well under strict regulation. 


    

   

   ■Li-polymer battery

   Advantage: It is more safe. If Li-polymer gets short circuit, it will never explode. If the    battery cells get short circuit, the cells will warm up with smokes.

   Limitation: cost is higher.

 

   JOBO standard battery is Li-polymer battery cell.

2. Different main cathode material

From above comparison, we find that Li(NCM) and LiFePO4 material is best choice for E-bike battery . We can choose different material , LiMn2O4 or  Li(NCM) or LiFePO4, according to customer demands; Meanwhile, we also can choose polymer lithium ion cell or cyclinder lithium ion cell according to different applications.
